It's a boy!! We found out just yesterday and we're excited. We got to see him wiggle and kick and all his cute little appendages. The technician said he was moving around a lot so maybe this one will be very active. It was funny because I realized that we had accidentally misled Benny prior to coming when I heard him whisper to Nathan, "Is it coming out yet"? We had told him that we were gonna see the baby and he thought he was going to see the baby in the flesh and not on a screen. That would explain why he was telling me to be brave as we were driving up to the doctors office. It was cute. We always tell him to be brave when we're giving him a hair cut and now here he was telling me to be brave when the doctor came with the knife to cut me. So sweet. Kinda an embarrassing story while we were there but obviously not embarrassing enough I guess since i'm writing about it but while we were there I had to give them a urine sample as usual. This place was a little unusual in that they had me place the cup with the sample on a tray in the doctors office, usual there is some special place in the actual bathroom but not this time. After I was done, we were still sitting around waiting for the doctor to come in. Benny was asleep on Nathan and Ephraim was trying to touch everything and bouncing around the room. He was too quick for me and grabbed the tray with my sample in it and flung it down onto the carpet, splashing the urine on the surrounding objects in the process. I had to get the wet wipes and start wiping down everything in a hurry before the doctor came in and saw me cleaning up my own mess. Thankfully he didn't come in and if he had I just might have considered claiming that it was Ephraim's urine and not mine. Life is always more interesting with my two boys.
